Ann & David Feinstein

Hello, we are Ann & David Feinstein. At the time we were introduced to network marketing, we were each in our own profession. David owned his own successful business management and accounting firm in New York City for 30 years, working with clients in the arts and entertainment industry … and I had begun my professional career, initially as a high school English teacher, and then moved to NYC as a corporate management consultant.

While David began to see how his business owned him, with lots of overhead, expenses, employee issues and time away on the road with touring clients, I was working my usual 60-70 hour workweek, like a prisoner of a 40-story NYC office building, dreaming about the weekends out at our country home. We kept thinking: "There has to be a better option!"

As the years went by, we began to look for that perfect business which would give us everything we wanted ... Financial Wealth, Quality Time Together with our Family, and the Freedom to do what we wanted, when we wanted. So we began our search for that ideal business that could give us what we were hoping for, and truthfully, we looked into a lot of possibilities.

While David was the native NY'er, I grew up in suburban Pennsylvania and now found that I was tired of the city life and wanted to feel the grass under my feet. But, at that time, it was not possible for David to leave NYC because of the demands of his accounting practice. So we compromised with weekends away at our NJ country home. Yet, the only "real businesses" prospering out there were video & pizza stores, neither were the right business options for us

Then ... while I was away at a week long seminar … taking an in-depth look at my professional career path and what I could do with my future … I was introduced to the expansive possibilities in Network Marketing … and how we could transition our non-productive hours to begin this business from home, while not giving up our professions. This segue really appealed to us… so we took the BIG step and have never looked back.

As our business grew throughout the USA and Canada as well as multi-nationally into well over 100,000 homes, in 13 countries, with major concentrations in Israel, Russia, South Africa and Western Europe, generating over $12 million dollars in annual revenues … so did our income … and even more options presented themselves.

About 4 years ago, David sold his accounting firm at the age of 56 and joined me full-time in our business. How many husbands are given such an option at this stage in their lives?

While traveling the world together and enjoying a lifestyle we only dared to dream about, with multiple homes and cars, in 2002 we decided to leave NYC and move back home to Pennsylvania with our "virtual business", just when our family needed us here.

Then, in mid April 2004, after 17 successful years with one company, and building our business globally in 13 countries, we were stopped right in our tracks as we heard the compelling story of Synergy Worldwide. We saw how each of the key elements of success were perfectly in place for us to become "ONE OF THE FIRST" in front of the dramatic growth about to take place.

While we had never been at the front of the wave before, this discussion about TIMING made us sit back and seriously consider where we were at the ages of 50 and 60 … and what we wanted for our future … especially when we learned of the results of prior experience with a similar set of circumstances. We believe that the largest businesses and the largest checks in network marketing will be created out of Synergy Worldwide, with the massive global growth surge being set into motion.

Quite frankly, neither of us remembers being as excited or as intrigued as we found ourselves delving into the two Synergy web sites, while listening to several of the top leaders that were assembled share their amazing posture in the industry and the timing of the Synergy venture. The more we read and the more we heard, we knew we had to take action, and we had to DO IT NOW … each hour, and each day that we waited would represent MISSING A MAJOR STEP FORWARD in our future success. After our due diligence, we looked at each other and said: "Let’s GO FOR IT!"

As soon as we made our commitment, and dug in our heels, the most amazing things began to happen as we made our contact list. Besides David opening his "golden rolodex" of business professionals, we began to contact many friends and family members whom we would have never approached before … and even those we had approached previously who had said "NO!" to network marketing. Suddenly, one after the other were saying "YES!" and joining our Synergy global team. 

Early on in our networking experience, while reviewing the following "12 Qualities of an Ideal Business", David and I were amazed at what we found.

  1. The ideal business sells the World rather than a single neighborhood.
  2. The ideal business has a consumable, value-added product that people need or desire.
  3. The ideal business sells a product, which cannot be easily substituted or copied.
  4. The ideal business has minimal labor requirements.
  5. The ideal business enjoys low overhead.
  6. The ideal business does not require big cash outlays or major investments.
  7. The ideal business enjoys cash billings (does not tie up your cash with lengthy or complex credit terms).
  8. The ideal business is relatively free of all kinds of governmental/ industry regulations and restrictions.
  9. The ideal business is portable or easily moveable.
  10. The ideal business satisfies your intellectual and often emotional needs.
  11. The ideal business leaves you free time.
  12. The ideal business is one in which your income is not limited by your personal output.

As we ticked each box, we looked at each other and said: "Sure sounds like SYNERGY to us!"

David and I consider ourselves to be long-term team players in this industry. We have been totally blown away by the freedom and lifestyle that success in this industry brings! We remember saying: "if this is real ... we are going to do this ... and failure is NOT an option."

Our goals have changed a bit since we first started. Not that long ago, we dreamt of creating wealth for ourselves and developing other leaders whose families could create wealth and security from home. As a result, our business slogan is now: Personal Best International, "Where Dynamic People Build Dynamic Futures!"
