In December of 2001 I was approached to join the Network Marketing Industry. Looking at my work load and businesses, my immediate reaction was that I was way too busy. As I began to study how I generate income my eyes started opening wider. Specifically, in order for me to sell 100+ homes and coach agents and build homes with my wife – it took 100% of my time; there was absolutely no leverage in that. Even though I was used to earning $32,000-$48,000 in monthly income, if I took my finger off the pulse my income would suffer. In addition to that, I realized that my real estate business was certainly a regional one geographically and that limited my wife and I and our plans for the future.

Together we joined network marketing and by our fifth month were earning in excess of $16,500 per month. In February of 2003 our son had a terrible snowboard accident and he spent a month in a coma and two + months in rehab before coming home. I spent 4-5 nights per week in the hospital with him and my wife spent all 85 days with him. If we were still selling homes I am 100% certain our income would have dramatically shrunk. My network marketing business grew 30%-40% per month during that time. This furthered my understanding of the quality of the income in network marketing vs. just the quantity.

In March of 2004 I was made aware of Synergy Worldwide and I joined. Having spent the previous two years recruiting approximately 24 people per year, I was pleased to experience sponsoring that suddenly became very simply with our websites and international calls; In my first five weeks I personally sponsored 42 people.
